mailPrimer mailPost : Architecture

mailPost is built on Calcium's tried and tested SaaS architecture to deliver an environment that you can safely integrate with your billing engine.

Your Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) systems interface through a secure internet connection with the Calcium servers. Using XML templates we agree on the format of the data that you need to send - you can do this any time of the day or night - our service is entirely automated.

Once received, our servers will merge those email addresses with the body of the text you have provided and fit it to the template you have specified and then link any attachments that you have nominated. mailPost supports several type of invoicing:

• Attached to the body of an email to the recipient;
• Sent as a link, with the original invoice being stored by your mailing house and uploaded on demand;
• Displayed inside the body of the email, using data you would provide us which can be merged within a standard template;

In all three cases above, the body that can be either provided by you for each recipient, or personalised through the use of variables you will supply.

In the final step of this initial part of our solution we will send the emails.

The next phase of our service involves monitoring the internet to look for any unsuccessful deliveries (these could be as simple as the customer has changed ISP or moved company). We will categorise these and send them, to you so you can update you address database.

Most importantly we log who is opening the email and who is clicking through on any links in the email. This is the valuable data you need to better target future campaigns.
